Achievement House Cyber Charter School

Enrollment Welcome Swag Box

Achievement House Cyber Charter School is a free, public online school for Pennsylvania students in grades 7 through 12. It offers a flexible virtual education with live classes, individual schoolwork, and steady teacher support. To help students succeed from home, the school provides every enrolled teenager with a free computer, printer, and internet help.

Achievement House Cyber Charter School

For this concept project, I explored how the Achievement House mascot could evolve into a more expressive character with a stronger personality and voice, allowing him to become an ambassador for the school rather than simply a visual symbol. From there, I created a Welcome Swag Box designed to make new students feel welcomed, connected, and excited to join the Achievement House community. Inspired by the school’s bee mascot, the box resembles a beehive and incorporates visual elements from the existing logo, including the lightning bolt shapes from the mascot’s wings, which were carried through the packaging, acceptance letter, and merchandise. The fold-out acceptance letter transforms into a sign students can display or share on social media, making the acceptance experience more celebratory and memorable. I also explored unexpected product ideas, including partnerships with Pennsylvania honey companies and seed paper that could support local bee populations. Together, these elements create a cohesive, student-focused welcome experience that connects Achievement House to its community, sustainability, and Pennsylvania roots while making the experience of joining an online school feel more personal, exciting, and memorable.
